Security System Installer - Calgary & Area APPLY NOW
The core activity of the installation technician role involves the physical programming and mounting of security and automation equipment, as well as WiFi and hardwired cameras. You will be working closely with other technicians, sales reps, customers, and your immediate supervisor, so strong communication skills are required. This position is as much a technical role as it is a customer-facing role. Training customers, answering their questions, and providing them with a pleasant experience is just as important as efficiently completing work that meets or exceeds our quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include being available to work 5-6 days per week, between 10 am and 9 pm, during the busy summer season; unless you book off time ahead. Our sales and tech teams travel all around Alberta and the neighboring provinces, so you will need to be available to travel and lodge in hotels for extended periods of time. In both residential and commercial environments, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: running and concealing low-voltage wire, working inside and outside, working on a ladder or in confined spaces such as basements or attics, determining the optimal mounting locations for sensors and cameras, and completing service work on previous installs. You should be comfortable using and trouble-shooting mobile phone and PC-based applications. Lastly, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating your own vehicle, purchasing and maintaining basic electrical and hand tools, as well as storing and accurately accounting for your personal inventory of equipment.2021-03-10|||Greater Calgary Area|||Technician ||||||tatrVbULRr.n40k5|||CONTRACTOR|||CAD|||YEAR|||range||||||48000|||65000|||true
